Canesten hydrocortisone 15g contains the active ingredient clotrimazole, a mild steroid that helps to relieve the uncomfortable symptoms associated with skin infections. It also targets and destroys the fungi and bacteria responsible for the infection. This cream is simple to use and effective when used as instructed. It does not cause any unnecessary stinging and is suitable for a range of other infections including nappy rash, thrush and ringworm.

Fungal skin infections such as athletes’ foot are caused by fungi and bacteria that live on the surface of the skin. They thrive in warm, damp areas such as in between the toes or folds of skin and can be characterised as red, sore and inflamed patches that become itchy and irritated.

How to use

1. The cream should be evenly and thinly applied twice daily to the affected area and rubbed in gently.

Other ingredients: Benzyl Alcohol, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Triceteareth-4-Phosphate, Medium Chain Triglycerides, Purified Water.
