Clarinase provides effective relief from symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis – hayfever, pet, dust or mould allergies. These symptoms can include; nasal congestion, sneezing, itchy or runny nose and watery or itchy eyes.

Clarinase nasal spray contains mometasone which is in a class of medications called corticosteroids and works by blocking the release of certain natural substances that cause allergy symptoms.

Clarinase is a nasal suspension (liquid) that is sprayed in the nose one or twice a day. If you are using Clarinase nasal spray to prevent or relieve hayfever or allergy symptoms, it is usually sprayed in each nostril once a day. If you are using Clarinase to treat nasal polyps, it is usually sprayed in each nostril once or twice daily (in the morning and evening). Ensure you spray Clarinase around the same time each day and start to use the spray 2 to 4 weeks before the beginning of the pollen season.

• Do not share if for single person use
• Do not take if you have an allergy to Clarinase or any of the ingredients
• Consult your pharmacist or doctor before taking if you are pregnant, may be pregnant or breastfeeding
• Consult your doctor if you have heart/blood vessel disease, overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism), diabetes or high blood pressure
• Use only in the nose

How to use

1. Shake gently before use.
2. Insert into one nostril at at time and pump 1-2 times per day.
3. Do not use more than 4 sprays a day.
4. Once your symptoms improve, try reducing to 1 spray in each nostril once a day to maintain relief.
5. Please do not use continuously for more than 3 months without consulting your doctor.
